- 1 cup Sour Cream
- 2 cups Shredded Cheese (blend of cheddar and Monterey Jack)
- 4 Green Onions (chopped)
- 1 lb Cooked and Crumbled Beef (or turkey/plant-based crumbles)
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 1 tsp Chili Powder
- Hot Sauce (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Sauté the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder until browned, about 7-10 minutes.
- Blend the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and half of your shredded cheese in a large bowl until well blended.
- Combine the beef, chopped green onions, and any additional spices or hot sauce into the cream cheese mixture and mix evenly.
- Transfer the dip mixture into a baking dish and top with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving warm with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh veggies.
Notes
Use room-temperature cream cheese for easier mixing and drain excess fat from the meat to prevent greasiness.
